'Signing Off'

This biro pen self-portrait on a UB40 vinyl cover, depicts the cliched archetypal figure of the aggressive of ethnic male. This nuanced notion of young black/brown men being presented as unapproachable entities is perpetuated by the media; in this work I take ownership of this stereotype to confront the viewer.
